Dyngyr formed in Farmington, New Mexico January of 2017, originally fronted by Tyler Cage with Charlie Chugs on Guitar, Arthur Luay on Bass and Kodi Grant on Drums. Upon releasing their debut EP self-titled record Dyngyr in October of the same year. After picking up some steam from the local area, the band had to relocate to Knoxville, Tennessee in April of 2018.

October of 2018 the band released their first follow up single "Do It Again" with temporary vocalist Richard Pell, followed by a second single release in January of 2019.

July of 2019 the band picked up some knoxville steam and added Lane Osterbur as the new Lead Vocalist, accompanied with Brian Rose on Bass Guitar, Kyle Beaver on rhythm guitar and Zach Freeman on Drums.

Dyngyr is set to release a new EP fall of 2019.
